Curb Appeal
What is it? Why is it so important?
Curb appeal is the first impression of your home. It starts when the buyer turns the corner on your street, follows with an assessment of your front lawn and property, continues to the front door and into the foyer. Your home either has it, or it doesn't. It's the first impression that you make on a buyer...and first impressions are very, very important.Let's say your home has good first impression. Then you are starting the home tour with an 7, 8 or 9 out of 10 on the buyer's mental scale. If you make a terrible first impression, you are down at 3, 4 or 5 out of 10. Buyers don't buy 3s or 4s. They buy 8s, 9s and 10s. That's assuming that they even walk into the house if they are not impressed at curb side. A good first impression will get buyers through the front door - you have absolutely no chance of selling them your home if they don't go inside. That's how important it is. Your home will sell faster and at a better price with it than without it. This website is all about home staging and how it helps you sell your home more quickly and for more money. It is a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to get your home in tip-top sale-ready shape. For more in-depth tips on this subject, check out our two exclusive chapters:
